Licensing Sub Committee - Thursday, 7th August, 2025 11.00 a.m.

The Licensing Sub Committee met to discuss two applications for temporary event notices (TENs) for Fabwick, Unit 4A, Queen's Yard, 43 White Post Lane, London E9 5EN. Both TENs were for the same location, with one covering an event on 9 August and the other on 10-11 August. After hearing from the applicant, the premises user, and a council officer, the committee approved the TEN for 10-11 August, with the condition that music would cease at midnight.

Licensing Sub Committee - Thursday, 17th July, 2025 6.30 p.m.

The Licensing Sub Committee met to discuss a new premises licence for Karma Cans Ltd, and for Vertus J1-J3 Limited, with a decision on the Vertus application being resolved prior to the meeting. The sub-committee heard from the applicants for Karma Cans, residents who had raised objections, and a licensing officer.

Council - Wednesday, 16th July, 2025 7.00 p.m.

The Tower Hamlets Council meeting on 16 July 2025 addressed several key issues, including petitions related to community assets and funding, and the ongoing continuous improvement journey required by the government. While motions on housing and child poverty were submitted, they were not debated due to time constraints.

Housing & Regeneration Scrutiny Sub Committee - Tuesday, 15th July, 2025 6.30 p.m.

The Housing and Regeneration Scrutiny Sub Committee met to discuss the performance of social landlords in the borough, and to review the council's response to a critical report from the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH). The committee also agreed the terms of reference, membership, quorum and meeting dates for 2025/26.

Licensing Sub Committee - Thursday, 12th June, 2025 6.30 p.m.

The Licensing Sub Committee met to discuss a license variation for Chiave Shoreditch and a new premises license for Boundary Hotel Restaurant. The committee ultimately rejected the application for Chiave Shoreditch, but approved the application for Boundary Hotel Restaurant, with conditions. The committee also agreed to extend the decision deadline for several applications.
