This meeting will consider the new governance arrangements for the Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP) following its transition to council control in April 2024. The meeting will also consider the resignation of Councillor Liz Leffman from the OxLEP board, and will consider the appointment of new members to the board.

Cabinet - Tuesday, 17 December 2024 2.00 pm

This meeting sees the Cabinet consider a wide range of subjects, including a motion submitted by a councillor in a previous full council meeting about the closure of a care home in Henley; updates on the performance of the council and its capital programme; and scrutiny committee feedback on its Community Asset Transfer Policy and its Commercial Strategy. In addition to these, the Cabinet is also asked to agree a response to a government consultation about enabling remote attendance and proxy voting at council meetings, and receive a report on the market for carbon dioxide removal. It is important to remember that these documents show what is scheduled to be discussed, but we do not know whether the Cabinet actually discussed, or made decisions on, any of these topics.

Delegated Decisions by Cabinet Member for Transport Management - Thursday, 12 December 2024 10.00 am

At this meeting, the Cabinet Member approved parking schemes in Charlbury and the Hightown Road area of Banbury, a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) in Littlemore North, Oxford, and changes to eligibility for parking permits within various CPZs in Oxford. A decision on two-way cycling in Sheep Street, Bicester was deferred pending an investigation into potential issues on Fridays due to the street market. A number of traffic schemes were also approved, including the conversion of a zebra crossing to a parallel crossing at A4144 Woodstock Road, Oxford, and 20mph speed limits in a number of Oxfordshire villages, as set out below.

County Council - Tuesday, 10 December 2024 10.30 am

The Oxfordshire County Council meeting on Tuesday 10 December 2024 included for discussion a wide range of matters from across the council's responsibilities. The meeting was scheduled to include the adoption of the Scrutiny Annual Report, consideration of motions put forward by Councillors, and discussion of several reports from Cabinet.
