The Environment and Sustainable Transport Committee met on 8 January 2026, adopting a revised policy for dealing with abandoned vehicles and receiving an update on the Sutton Town Centre Public Realm and Placemaking Programme. The Sutton Council meeting scheduled for 3 November 2025 included discussion of Houses in Multiple Occupation, a motion to support diversity, and the annual report of the Audit and Governance Committee. Councillors were also expected to answer questions.

Carshalton and Clockhouse Local Committee - Tuesday, 14th October, 2025 7.00 pm

The Carshalton and Clockhouse Local Committee met to discuss a range of local issues, including updates from community groups, Sutton Housing Partnership (SHP), and highways officers. The committee also addressed public questions regarding traffic calming measures and tennis court usage. Councillor Lisa Webster was appointed Vice Chair of the Carshalton and Clockhouse Local Committee.

The Environment and Sustainable Transport Committee met on 9 October 2025, and agreed to note a petition for 100% plant-based catering at council events, approved the one year review of the Cultural Strategy for Sutton 2024-2027, noted the bi-annual performance monitoring report, agreed the updated Climate Emergency Response Plan, approved the implementation of a lane rental scheme in the borough, approved the highways and transport programme for 2026/2027, and approved the appointment of a preferred bidder for the parking enforcement and operations contract.
