The Council agreed to reduce the maximum level of support available through the Local Council Tax Support Scheme 2025-26 from 100% to 80% and agreed to reduce the time before charging a Council Tax Premium to unfurnished and unoccupied properties from 2 years to 12 months. They also noted the appointment of Councillor Sandra Bauer as the new Cabinet Member for Equality, Culture and Communities, and voted to adopt a motion on protecting leaseholders from the cost of fire safety remediation work.

Licensing Sub-Committee B

Licensing Sub-Committee B - Tuesday, 17th December, 2024 6.30 pm

This Licensing Sub-Committee B meeting was scheduled to consider an objection to Calabash Restaurant and Bar’s application to extend their opening hours over the festive period, following complaints from residents about noise. The Committee was also scheduled to note a list of Councillors’ memberships as Council appointed representatives on outside bodies, joint committees and school governing bodies.

The Board were scheduled to receive training from Blackrock on investment management and to review reports on a range of topics.
