Extraordinary, Audit Committee - Thursday, 27th June, 2024 6.00 p.m.

The Audit Committee discussed the council's performance in providing adult social care to people in their homes, and the process of recruiting new social workers to deliver that care. The committee decided to ask the council's senior management team to investigate the relationship between the amount the council spends on recruiting social workers and the speed with which they are able to fill vacancies.

Standards Advisory Committee - Wednesday, 26th June, 2024 6.30 p.m.

The Standards Advisory Committee met to discuss several issues relating to standards and conduct at the council. The committee noted the contents of all reports. They also agreed to a minor change to the Standards Advisory Committee procedure rules to ensure that they are consistent with the Members Code of Conduct.

Shortlisting Corporate Director Housing and Regeneration, Appointments Sub Committee - Wednesday, 26th June, 2024 4.30 p.m.

The Appointments Sub Committee of Tower Hamlets Council met on 26 June 2024 and decided to recommend Councillor Asma Begum for the role of Tree Champion. The meeting also discussed the council's performance in managing its tree stock.

The Licensing Sub Committee of Tower Hamlets Council met on Tuesday 25 June 2024 and considered three applications for new and varied premises licences. The committee granted all three applications.
