Transport and Place Scrutiny Panel - Thursday, 3rd October, 2024 6.30 pm
This meeting of the Transport and Place Scrutiny Panel was scheduled to include an update on the risks of flooding in Greenwich, a report on the progress of the new Local Plan, and a summary of the performance of the planning service. This meeting of the full council saw the appointment of Councillor Majid Rahman as the new Cabinet Member for Planning, Estate Renewal and Development, replacing Councillor Aidan Smith who has left the council to take up a new role elsewhere. The council also voted to approve the adoption of a new Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) charging schedule and to allow for the appointment of political assistants for both the Labour and Conservative groups.
