The Board formally ratified the 2025/26 Quarter 3 Better Care Fund submission and received an update on the development of an Interim Lancashire Neighbourhood Health Plan.

The Cabinet of Lancashire County Council met on Thursday, 5th March 2026, to discuss the allocation of the new Crisis Resilience Fund, approve significant investment in the county's highways, and outline the council's procurement pipeline for the upcoming financial year. Key decisions included the approval of the framework for the £17.2 million Crisis Resilience Fund, the allocation of £72 million for highways maintenance and improvements, and the commencement of various procurement exercises for 2026/27, alongside an updated Social Value Framework. The Cabinet also approved the council's response to the government's consultation on Local Government Reorganisation in Lancashire.
