The Full Council of Lancashire County Council met on Thursday, 26th February 2026, to approve the council's budget for the 2026/27 financial year. The meeting saw the approval of the main budget proposals, which included a 3.8% increase in council tax, alongside the defeat of several opposition amendments put forward by the Progressive Lancashire Group, the Conservative Group, the Liberal Democrat Group, and Our West Lancashire Group.
