The Mayoral Combined Authority Board noted the Capital Investment Programme 2025/26 Outturn Report on 16 June 2026. The report detailed the scale, status, and location of investment across the region.

The Mayoral Combined Authority Board of South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority Council approved recommendations on 16/06/2026. This included awarding £12.46m grant to Sheffield City Council for "Nether Edge Wedge (Active Travel) Phase 1 - Charter Row", £3m grant to South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority for "SYMCA Bus Lane Review", and £2.4m grant to Sheffield City Council for "AT City Centre Connections – Castle Street". The Board also approved progression of "Doncaster 191" with a £3.97m grant/loan to Vac-Ex Ltd and £7.064m grant for "Highways Maintenance Incentive Funding 2026/27".

The Mayoral Combined Authority Board decided to approve recommendations regarding the Annual Corporate Governance Update on 16/06/2026. The Board approved the revised Code of Corporate Governance and the draft Annual Governance Statement and Governance Improvement Plan. They also noted progress in risk management and commented on the Corporate Risk Management Dashboard.

The Mayoral Combined Authority Board approved amendments to the Constitution on 16 June 2026. The Board delegated authority to the Monitoring Officer to amend and publish a revised MCA Constitution containing the approved changes. The Board also noted implications for the MCA's powers and duties arising out of the English Devolution and Community Empowerment Act 2026.
