The North Cheam, Stonecot and Worcester Park Local Committee met on 15 July 2025 to discuss community safety, funding opportunities, and the status of the former HG Wells pub site. The committee also planned to hear a presentation from the Royal British Legion Social Club Worcester Park about their services.

The Sutton Council meeting on 14 July 2025 included discussion of a number of motions, including the protection of Greenbelt land, helping residents through hard times, addressing the deterioration of Mill Green Mitcham Common, and Parkinson's awareness. Councillors also addressed questions about Sutton Housing Partnership repairs, Transport for London (TfL) works, the future of Healthwatch, the Victoria House site, carbon emissions, support for the charity sector, resident participation in planning, welfare reforms, and the committee system in local councils.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Monday, 7th July, 2025 2.00 pm

The Sutton Council Licensing Sub-Committee met on 7 July 2025 to discuss licensing procedures and a new premises licence application. The application was for a new licence for Popeyes, 137-143 High Street, Sutton, SM1 1JH, and would allow the provision of late night refreshment. Councillors were also scheduled to review the Licensing Sub-Committee's hearings procedure.

The Licensing Sub-Committee was scheduled to meet to discuss a new premises licence application and to review the Licensing Hearing Procedures. The meeting was scheduled to begin with welcome and introductions, the election of a chair, and declarations of interest.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Thursday, 26th June, 2025 10.30 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee met to consider an application for a new premises licence for the KFC at 200-202 High Street, Sutton. The committee decided to grant the application, allowing the KFC to offer late night refreshments between 23:00 and 02:00, subject to a number of conditions. These conditions related to CCTV, security, noise management and litter control, and included additional measures requested by both the applicant and the sub-committee.
