The Council of the London Borough of Sutton is holding an extraordinary meeting on Monday, 29 September 2025. Councillors will be asked to designate a permanent Monitoring Officer, and to note the interim arrangements in place until that officer starts in post.

The People Committee are scheduled to meet on Thursday, 25 September 2025, to discuss the Special Educational Needs/ Disabilities and Alternative Provision Strategy, the Ofsted Inspection of Children's Services, the People Committee In Year Performance Report, and a Homecare Update.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Thursday, 18th September, 2025 2.00 pm

The Licensing Sub-Committee convened to consider an application by The Greek Table Ltd for a new premises licence. The application sought to authorise the sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises, late night refreshment, and recorded music at The Greek Table at 39 North Street, Carshalton. After hearing representations from interested parties and reviewing the application, the sub-committee deferred its decision.

North East Surrey Crematorium Board - Tuesday, 16th September, 2025 10.30 am

The North East Surrey Crematorium Board met to discuss the management and finances of the crematorium. The board agreed to permanently appoint Luca Marzocchini as Surveyor to the Board. They also reviewed and approved the risk register, and made a minor change to simplify the standing orders.
