The Investment Subcommittee of Leicestershire County Council met on 1 October 2025 to discuss the minutes of their previous meeting, future meeting dates, and a review of the Fund's property, private debt and private equity investments. Hymans Robertson, the Fund's investment advisor, were scheduled to deliver a presentation as part of the discussion on investments. The meeting was also scheduled to cover the pension fund's annual report and accounts, and a budget monitoring update.

The Leicestershire County Council meeting on 24 September 2025 was scheduled to address a range of issues, including the revision of the council's constitution, and motions concerning the protection of rural communities and homes from flooding. Councillors were also due to answer questions from the public and consider reports from various committees.

Development Control and Regulatory Board - Thursday, 11 September 2025 2.00 pm

The Development Control and Regulatory Board were scheduled to meet on Thursday, 11 September 2025, to discuss a planning application related to composting activities at Glebe Farm, and a review of Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) within the district of North West Leicestershire (NWL). The meeting was also scheduled to cover standard agenda items such as questions from the public and councillors, declarations of interest, and a review of the minutes from the previous meeting.

Development Control and Regulatory Board - Thursday, 7 August 2025 2.00 pm

The Development Control and Regulatory Board convened on 7 August 2025, addressing key issues including a proposal to allow the back-hauling of low-grade gypsum from British Gypsum in Barrow-Upon-Soar, the construction of an anaerobic digestion plant at Marigold Farm in Great Bowden, and a request to extend the operating hours of the wash plant at Bardon Quarry to 24/7. The board approved the recommendations for all three applications, subject to conditions. Additionally, the board approved several other items, including the installation of a zebra crossing in Wymeswold, the appointment of suppliers for civils materials and hand tools, the appointment of Winter Service Solutions Ltd, a no right turn restriction near Sutton Lodge Farm, declaring land at Poole Farm surplus, selecting a preferred bidder for Birkett House in Wigston, and the creation of a Healthy Leicestershire Digital Solution.
