Health and Wellbeing Board - Thursday 11 December 2025 10.00 am

At a meeting on 2 December 2025, Southwark Council's cabinet made decisions on a number of important issues, including approving the demolition of Marie Curie House, agreeing to phase 2 of the Tustin Estate renewal, and approving a new resident engagement strategy. The cabinet also discussed school standards, budget updates, and various financial and contractual matters.

Southwark Council Assembly met to discuss resident's rights, ethical investments, and local funding, among other items. The council approved changes to its committee structure and investment strategy, and reappointed an independent advisor. Motions were passed regarding fairer funding, ethical investments, improvements to Peckham Rye Station, and Thames Water.

The Southwark Council cabinet met on 14 October 2025, and agreed to dispose of land for a new care home, adopt a climate and environment supplementary planning document, consult on changes to the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) for student housing, authorise the letting of underground garage space, and award a contract for integrated sexual and reproductive health services.
