At a meeting on 2 December 2025, Southwark Council's Cabinet made decisions on a range of issues, including housing, education, and community safety. They approved a new resident engagement strategy, agreed to demolish the Marie Curie block on the Sceaux Gardens Estate[^2], and discussed measures to address financial challenges in the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) and General Fund (GF). The cabinet also approved a land transfer arrangement in East Dulwich to facilitate a new football stadium and community facilities.
