Spalding Town Forum - Wednesday, 18th June, 2025 6.30 pm
The Spalding Town Forum met on Wednesday 18 June 2025 to discuss the Spalding Special Expenses account, receive updates on town centre projects, and plan future agenda items. Councillor Robert A Gibson, Chairman of the Spalding Town Forum, was scheduled to provide updates on the Spalding Town Centre Traffic Regulation Order, and Councillor James Le Sage, Deputy Leader of the South Holland Independents Group, was scheduled to provide feedback on the Celebrate the River Day event. The forum was also expected to review actions from the previous meeting and consider the Spalding Special Expenses Q4 report for 2024-25.
Annual Meeting, South Holland District Council - Wednesday, 14th May, 2025 6.30 pm
South Holland District Council was scheduled to hold its annual meeting on 14 May 2025. Councillors were expected to discuss committee and outside body membership, the schedule of meetings for 2025/26, and the appointment of a second Independent Person. Also on the agenda was a report from the Cabinet meeting on 1 April 2025, and a six-monthly update on the South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership (SELCP).

At the Planning Committee meeting on 7 May 2025, South Holland District Council councillors considered a range of planning applications, including conservation works to the Spalding War Memorial, and the retrospective erection of a spectator stand and dugouts at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field. Councillors approved all applications, with some conditions. They also noted a report on recent planning appeal decisions.
