Planning Board - Tuesday, 8th October, 2024 6.30 pm

The meeting considered three planning applications and made decisions on all of them. Planning permission was granted for the demolition of an MOT garage and its replacement with flats and commercial space at 2B Rathmore Road, subject to conditions and a Section 106 legal agreement. The committee also resolved to grant planning permission for the demolition of a car wash and pet hospital at 1A and 1C Eynsham Drive and their replacement with a co-living development, a hotel and a new pet hospital, subject to conditions and a Section 106 agreement. The committee also resolved to grant planning permission for the retention for up to ten years of a decked car park on land to the west of West Parkside and east of Millennium Way on the Greenwich Peninsula, subject to conditions.

Transport and Place Scrutiny Panel - Thursday, 3rd October, 2024 6.30 pm

This meeting of the Transport and Place Scrutiny Panel was scheduled to include an update on the risks of flooding in Greenwich, a report on the progress of the new Local Plan, and a summary of the performance of the planning service. It was also scheduled to note a series of reports that are due to be presented to the Panel at its meeting on 20 November 2024.

Planning Board - Tuesday, 17th September, 2024 6.30 pm

Planning permission was granted for the development at Enderby Place subject to a Section 106 agreement and conditions. The application for the former lorry park adjacent to Studio 338 was approved with an amendment to a condition and an informative added to the decision. The application for Victoria House was approved subject to conditions and a Section 106 legal agreement. The application about 2B Rathmore Road was deferred until the next Planning Board meeting.

Licensing Sub-Committee C - Tuesday, 17th September, 2024 10.30 am

This meeting of the Licensing Sub-Committee was scheduled to consider two applications. The first was for the grant of a new premises licence for the sale of alcohol for Fan Zone, Charlton Athletic Football Club, Floyd Road, London SE7 8BL. The second was for a variation to the existing licence for AFC Lewisham, Gresham Sports Ground, Eltham Road, London SE12 8ES. It is important to note that this is just a summary of what was scheduled to be discussed based on the documents provided to the attendees and does not tell us anything about what was actually discussed, or whether any decisions were actually made.

Pension Fund Investment & Administration Panel - Monday, 16th September, 2024 10.30 am

This meeting of the Pension Fund Investment & Administration Panel included the presentation of several reports about the performance and management of the Royal Borough of Greenwich Pension Fund. Councillors were also scheduled to discuss the Fund’s progress towards its target of being carbon neutral by 2040. Additionally, there was a proposed update to the Fund's Knowledge and Understanding Skills Policy and Framework.
