The Rights of Way Committee for Northumberland County Council was scheduled to meet on Wednesday, 22 October 2025, to discuss a range of issues, including an application for village green status and several reviews of the definitive map and statement of public rights of way. The Ashington & Blyth Community Partnership met on Wednesday 17 September 2025, to discuss the council's budget and corporate plan, a community governance review, and sports development in Newbiggin. The meeting also included a public question time, and a review of petitions. Councillors were asked to consider nominations for outside bodies.

County Council - Wednesday, 10th September, 2025 3.00 pm

Northumberland County Council met on 10 September 2025, and agreed to increase the budget for the Northumberland Line project by £37.9 million, commence a county-wide Community Governance Review, and also discussed corporate performance and annual reports from cabinet members.

Rights of Way Committee - Wednesday, 27th August, 2025 10.00 am

The Northumberland County Council Rights of Way Committee convened to discuss several applications and reviews concerning public rights of way and village green status in the region. The committee resolved to arrange a non-statutory public inquiry into an application for village green status at The Fields, Hexham, and also made decisions regarding alleged public bridleways in Akeld & Kirknewton, Carham, Belsay and Matfen.

The Northumberland County Council meeting on 2 July 2025 was scheduled to cover a range of topics, including the Leader's annual report, a constitutional review, and a report from the Independent Remuneration Panel (IRP).
