Housing and Regeneration Policy and Scrutiny Committee - Wednesday 12th March, 2025 6.30 pm

The meeting of Westminster City Council's Housing and Regeneration Policy and Scrutiny Committee on 12 March 2025 included discussion about a range of housing related topics, including performance of the repairs service, an update on damp and mould in council properties and discussion around the effectiveness of the Council's Housing Compact with registered providers in addressing damp and mould across the borough.

Council - Wednesday 5th March, 2025 7.00 pm

The meeting was dominated by a debate about the council's proposed budget for 2025-26. The budget, which includes a 4.99% increase in council tax, was approved despite opposition amendments calling for a smaller council tax increase.

Vulnerable Adults, Health and Communities Policy and Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday 4th March, 2025 6.30 pm

The Vulnerable Adults, Health and Communities Policy and Scrutiny Committee will be asking questions about a range of services that are provided to vulnerable adults by Westminster Council, including the ways the council supports people to continue to live in their homes, and the ways that the council supports people with drug and alcohol dependency. The committee has previously asked for, and will receive, an update on how the finances of the Community Hubs programme are being managed.

Licensing Sub-Committee (6) - Thursday 27th February, 2025 10.00 am

This meeting of the Licensing Sub-Committee will consider applications for new licences, including an application for a Sexual Entertainment Venue Licence, and for shadow licences. It also appears that Councillor Caroline Sargent will replace an unnamed Councillor as a member of the committee. The documents do not contain the names of the departing or arriving Councillors, however the agenda states: To report any changes to the membership .

Licensing Sub-Committee (2) - Wednesday 5th February, 2025 10.00 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee (2) met to discuss two applications: a new premises licence for 81 Edgware Road and a variation to the licence for Theatre Restaurant at 6 Catherine Street.
