The Cabinet decided to approve the extension of the e-scooter contract for 12 months and delegate authority to procure a joint e-scooter and e-bike scheme. This decision was made on June 10th, 2026. The approved actions include modifying the current e-scooter contract with Voi Ltd and conducting a competitive procurement process for the new joint scheme.

The Cabinet decided to approve recommendations for the M5 Junction 10 Improvements Scheme. This decision was made on 10th June 2026. The Cabinet delegated authority to the Executive Director of Economy, Environment and Infrastructure to exercise powers under the Development Consent Order, commission main works, and implement the programme. They also approved earmarking £8.575 million from the Gloucestershire Infrastructure Investment Fund and an increase of £44 million to the capital programme, bringing the total budget to £407 million.

The Director of Education decided to award Childcare Reforms Local Authority Capital funding and Wraparound Childcare Delivery grant funding. This decision was made on 30/04/2026. The decision was to award grant funding to successful applicants following the Phase 8 application process.

The Cabinet decided to approve recommendations regarding the Council Strategy Action Plan Update and Finance, Performance and Risk Monitoring Report for 2025/26 on 10th June 2026. This included noting the revenue budget underspend and approving transfers to reserves. Specific actions agreed were the transfer of £1.070 million to the Local Government Reorganisation Reserve and £6.572 million to the Risk and Opportunities Reserve.

The Cabinet decided to approve the Gloucestershire Green Skills Strategy 2026-2030 on 10 June 2026. Authority was delegated to the Executive Director of Environment, Economy and Infrastructure, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Education and Skills, to implement the strategy and participate in the Federated Faculty. The strategy includes convening the Gloucestershire Green Skills Faculty, supporting the establishment of a Gloucestershire Retrofit Centre of Excellence, delivering the Gloucestershire Green Skills Pledge, and developing Green Skills Pathways.
