Gloucestershire E-Scooter Trial Extension and proposed procurement for combined E-scooter & E-Bike Scheme

The Cabinet decided to approve the extension of the e-scooter contract for 12 months and delegate authority to procure a joint e-scooter and e-bike scheme. This decision was made on June 10th, 2026. Junction 10 Improvements Scheme – Notice to proceed with Main Works

They also approved earmarking £8.575 million from the Gloucestershire Infrastructure Investment Fund and an increase of £44 million to the capital programme, bringing the total budget to £407 million.

Green Skills Strategy

The Cabinet decided to approve the Gloucestershire Green Skills Strategy 2026-2030 on 10 June 2026. Authority was delegated to the Executive Director of Environment, Economy and Infrastructure, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Education and Skills, to implement the strategy and participate in the Federated Faculty. The strategy includes convening the Gloucestershire Green Skills Faculty, supporting the establishment of a Gloucestershire Retrofit Centre of Excellence, delivering the Gloucestershire Green Skills Pledge, and developing Green Skills Pathways.
