The North Northamptonshire Council Planning Committee met to discuss planning applications for a residential development in Wellingborough and a non-material amendment to an industrial development in Corby. The committee approved both applications, with conditions. Councillor Jennie Bone was also elected as vice-chair of the committee.

North Northamptonshire Council met to discuss the Northamptonshire Youth Justice Plan, and to agree changes to the political balance on council committees. The North Northamptonshire Council Planning Committee met to discuss planning applications for a nursery in Rushden, a property in Kettering, and land in Braybrooke. The committee approved the application for residential development at Jack And Jill Nursery, Rushden, subject to a condition regarding fencing. They also approved the change of use of a retail unit to a house in multiple occupation (HMO) in Kettering, and the construction of five dwellings in Braybrooke.
