Governance Committee - Tuesday, 4th March, 2025 7.00 pm
The Governance Committee of Lewisham Council met on Tuesday 04 March 2025 at 7pm and resolved to recommend a series of amendments to the Lewisham Council constitution[^1] to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Council on 7 May 2025. The amendments would remove Local Assemblies from the constitution, reduce the number of topics that can be discussed at Extraordinary General Meetings (EGMs) of the council, limit the length of time given over to motions at council meetings, and prevent Cabinet Advisors from being members of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee.

Standards Committee - Wednesday, 11th December, 2024 7.00 pm
This meeting was scheduled to involve the Standards Committee considering a number of different matters relating to the conduct of councillors. This included appointments to subcommittees, an update on complaints about councillors, and consideration of training needs. The committee was also scheduled to consider a report about a new Model Code of Conduct published by the Local Government Association, and to begin developing a programme of future work.
Brent, Lewisham and Southwark IT Committee - Tuesday, 26th November, 2024 6.00 pm
This meeting was a meeting of the Joint IT Committee, a committee that oversees the shared IT service of Brent, Lewisham and Southwark Councils, known as Shared Technology Services (STS). Two reports were scheduled to be discussed: an update on the performance of the Shared Technology Service, and an update on the Cyber Security status, threats, and mitigations identified in relation to the Shared Technology Services.

The Committee reviewed and approved the draft Lewisham Pension Fund Annual Report 2023/24 for publication. It also agreed changes to the Fund's Responsible Investment Beliefs Statement, noting the findings of a recent workshop. Several items were discussed in closed session.
