Pension Fund Investment & Administration Panel - Monday, 16th September, 2024 10.30 am
This meeting of the Pension Fund Investment & Administration Panel included the presentation of several reports about the performance and management of the Royal Borough of Greenwich Pension Fund. Councillors were also scheduled to discuss the Fund’s progress towards its target of being carbon neutral by 2040. Additionally, there was a proposed update to the Fund's Knowledge and Understanding Skills Policy and Framework.
Children and Young People Scrutiny Panel - Wednesday, 11th September, 2024 6.30 pm
The meeting included a quarterly review of Children's Services performance, discussion of the Council's strategy for providing accommodation for children in its care, an independent review of provision for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and a consultation on proposed changes to Children's Centres.
Council - Wednesday, 24th July, 2024 7.00 pm
This meeting of the full council saw the appointment of Councillor Majid Rahman as the new Cabinet Member for Planning, Estate Renewal and Development, replacing Councillor Aidan Smith who has left the council to take up a new role elsewhere. The council also voted to approve the adoption of a new Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) charging schedule and to allow for the appointment of political assistants for both the Labour and Conservative groups.
