West Sub-Area Planning Committee - Monday, 28th April, 2025 10.00 am

The West Sub-Area Planning Committee met to discuss three planning applications, ultimately approving one with delegated powers, refusing another, and deferring a decision on the third. The committee also noted a list of planning appeal decisions.

Cornwall Council met to discuss health and wellbeing board alignment, and the operation of special urgency provisions. Councillors also addressed questions from the public regarding 20mph zones, transport pricing in Truro, appointments, and investments related to the conflict in Gaza. The council approved recommendations regarding the Health and Wellbeing Board and Integrated Care Partnership alignment, and noted the report on special urgency and call-in provisions.

Audit Committee - Friday, 11th April, 2025 10.00 am

The Audit Committee of Cornwall Council met on 11 April 2025 to discuss a range of issues, including the appointment of a new lay member, the external auditor's plan, the annual governance statement, and the internal audit plan for the upcoming year. The meeting also included a review of the committee's effectiveness and reports from the chief internal auditor.
