The Licensing Committee agreed unanimously to commend the revised Statement of Gambling Policy to Full Council for adoption. The new policy removes the practice of writing to residents to inform them about licensing applications, but there were no other substantive changes to the previous policy.

Licensing Sub-Committee A - Thursday, 3rd October, 2024 6.30 pm

The meeting was scheduled to include a discussion about an application for a new alcohol licence for a shop in Blackheath Village. The Sub-Committee was also scheduled to confirm the minutes of their previous meeting, which was held on 23 November 2023, as an accurate record of the discussions.

Licensing Review Sub-Committee - Wednesday, 25th September, 2024 6.30 pm

This meeting was scheduled to be about whether to review the license of a shop in Woolwich. The documents from the meeting show that Councillors were scheduled to consider whether to add seven extra conditions to the license of a shop.

Children and Young People Scrutiny Panel - Wednesday, 11th September, 2024 6.30 pm

The meeting included a quarterly review of Children's Services performance, discussion of the Council's strategy for providing accommodation for children in its care, an independent review of provision for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and a consultation on proposed changes to Children's Centres.
