Housing & Regeneration Scrutiny Sub Committee - Tuesday, 15th April, 2025 6.30 p.m.

The Housing and Regeneration Scrutiny Sub Committee met to discuss social landlord performance, progress against scrutiny recommendations, and the Regulator of Social Housing report. The committee reviewed the Social Landlords Performance Report for Quarter 3 of 2024/25, tracked the implementation of recommendations from the previous scrutiny challenge session on housing provider performance, and received an update on the council's recent inspection by the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH). Grants Determination (Cabinet) Sub-Committee - Wednesday, 9th April, 2025 5.30 p.m.

The Grants Determination (Cabinet) Sub-Committee met on 9 April 2025, and approved changes to the application process for the Emergency Fund, and noted a performance report on the Mayor’s Community Grant Programme (MCGP). The Sub-Committee also noted a report on funding that had been allocated to voluntary and community sector organisations under delegated authority.

Interviews for the post of Director of Homelessness and Housing Options, Appointments Sub Committee - Tuesday, 8th April, 2025 10.00 a.m.

The Appointments Sub Committee met to interview candidates for the position of Director of Homelessness and Housing Options, a role that has been filled on an interim basis since August 2024. The agenda also included the confirmation of minutes from a previous meeting. As the substantive business on the agenda was exempt/confidential, the agenda stated that the usual arrangements for public attendance would not apply.

Council - Wednesday, 2nd April, 2025 7.00 p.m.

The Tower Hamlets Council meeting addressed petitions, a motion to support children with special educational needs, and a motion to address intimidation and harassment in politics. Councillors also approved the calendar of meetings for 2025/26 and designated a new monitoring officer.
