County Council - Wednesday, 5th November, 2025 2.00 pm
The agenda for Northumberland County Council's meeting on 5 November 2025 included discussion of the Berwick Maltings Theatre project, annual reports from several cabinet members, an annual report from the Audit Committee, an interim report from the Family and Children's Services Overview and Scrutiny Committee, and a review of polling districts and polling places. South East Planning Committee - Monday, 13th October, 2025 4.00 pm
The South East Planning Committee met to discuss planning applications and a Section 106 agreement update. Councillors voted to approve the change of use of a property on Regent Street in Blyth from supported living accommodation to a single dwelling, despite concerns raised by a local councillor. The committee also approved the erection of a single-storey retail unit in Bedlington, following a debate about its potential impact.

The Northumberland Council Health and Well-being Board met to discuss changes to its membership and terms of reference, and to review the Northumberland Alcohol Strategy (2025 – 2030). The board was also scheduled to review its forward plan.

The Northumberland County Council Schools' Forum met virtually on 1 October 2025 to discuss school funding and related matters. The forum approved the revised Scheme for Financing Maintained Schools and noted updates on free school meal uptake and the national funding formula.
