Ordinary meeting, Council Assembly - Wednesday 12 November 2025 7.00 pm

Southwark Council Assembly met to discuss resident's rights, ethical investments, and local funding, among other items. The council approved changes to its committee structure and investment strategy, and reappointed an independent advisor. Motions were passed regarding fairer funding, ethical investments, improvements to Peckham Rye Station, and Thames Water.

Planning Committee (Major Applications) B - Wednesday 5 November 2025 6.30 pm

The Planning Committee (Major Applications) B met on 5 November 2025, and approved the release of £250,000 for cycling infrastructure improvements on Mandela Way, and approved the demolition of Coburg House and erection of a new building comprising commercial floorspace and purpose built student accommodation. Councillor Richard Livingstone, Chair of the Planning Committee (Major Applications) B, informed the meeting that an addendum report and members' pack had been circulated.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Thursday 16 October 2025 10.00 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee was scheduled to convene to consider a licensing application. Councillor Renata Hamvas, Chair, Councillor Sunil Chopra, Councillor Kath Whittam, and Councillor Barrie Hargrove were listed as the membership reserves for the meeting.

Planning Committee (Major Applications) A - Tuesday 14 October 2025 6.30 pm

The Planning Committee (Major Applications) A was scheduled to meet on 14 October 2025, to discuss several planning and development matters. The agenda included approving minutes from a prior meeting, considering the release of funds for park improvements, and reviewing development management reports for two major applications concerning the Snowsfields Quarter and New City Court.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Thursday 18 September 2025 10.00 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee was scheduled to meet on 18 September 2025 to consider a time-limited premises licence for The DroneArt Show in Dulwich Park and a new premises licence for Smacks Hamburgers on Walworth Road. The sub-committee was also scheduled to deal with any other urgent business.
