The East & South Buckinghamshire Area Planning Committee met on 14 October 2025, and made decisions on two planning applications. Councillors voted to refuse an outline application for the demolition of existing structures and erection of up to 18 dwellings and associated infrastructure and landscaping at Lambscroft Nursery, and to approve an application for the erection of a new dwelling and detached garage to the side of an existing property called Wings.

Licensing (Premises) Sub-Committee. The Bricklayers Arms PH, 19 Walton Terrace, Aylesbury, HP21 7QY (Review), Licensing (Premises) Sub-Committee - Wednesday, 8th October, 2025 10.30 am

The Licensing (Premises) Sub-Committee met to review the premises licence for The Bricklayers Arms, following an application from Buckinghamshire Council's Environmental Protection Team. After hearing detailed arguments, the sub-committee decided to modify the licence with additional conditions to prevent public nuisance. These modifications included keeping noise from regulated entertainment at background level, closing external doors and windows after 11pm, and operating in accordance with a Noise Management Plan.

Pension Fund Board - Wednesday, 1st October, 2025 10.00 am

The Buckinghamshire Council Pension Fund Board met to discuss breaches of the law, the annual benefit statements, and administration performance statistics. They also planned to discuss the valuation assumptions and draft funding strategy statement, the draft conflicts of interest policy, and the risk register. The meeting was scheduled to take place at The Paralympic Room, Buckinghamshire Council, Gatehouse Road, Aylesbury.

The Buckinghamshire Historic Environment Forum met on 25 September 2025 at the Chilterns Open Air Museum (COAM), Chalfont St Peter. The forum was scheduled to discuss wartime Buckinghamshire, presentations from multiple organisations, the Archaeological Emergency Recording Fund, and a government consultation on streamlining infrastructure planning.
