The Cabinet of Brent Council decided to endorse Brent's new Damp and Mould Policy on 27/07/2026. They also noted comments made on the status and next steps to deliver the policy commitments. The policy provides a framework for investigating, resolving, and preventing damp and mould in the council's housing stock.

The Cabinet of Brent Council approved the Brent Infrastructure Funding Statement 2024-25 for publication on the Council's website on 27 July 2026. The decision included an amendment to correct the tenure type for affordable housing units.

The Cabinet of Brent approved the publication of the proposed submission version of the West London Waste Plan for consultation. They also delegated authority to the Head of Planning and Development Services to make minor modifications to the plan and accompanying documents before public consultation. The Cabinet agreed that the plan is sound and recommended it to Full Council for authorisation of submission to the Secretary of State for examination.

The Cabinet of Brent Council approved entering into a new Collaboration Agreement for the West London Fostering Recruitment and Retention Programme on 27/07/2026. The Cabinet delegated authority to the Corporate Director Children, Young People and Community Development, in consultation with the Corporate Director of Finance and Resources, to finalise the terms of this agreement. This includes undertaking the whole fostering assessment process and providing initial training to foster carers.

The Cabinet decided to approve entering a new Section 75 partnership arrangement with the West and North London Integrated Care Board for the delivery of the Better Care Fund plan for 2026-27. This decision was made on 27/07/2026. Authority was delegated to the Corporate Director Service Reform and Strategy to extend the agreement for up to four years and to make annual financial contributions to the Better Care Fund budget.
