EGM, Council - Tuesday, 11th February, 2025 7.30 pm
The Lewisham Council meeting on 11 February 2025 was scheduled to include discussions about a range of topics in the council’s draft local plan, including a proposed increase in the target for new housing delivery. Proposed changes to the plan included a series of modifications to the “Lewisham Local Plan: Proposed Submission Document”, an addendum to the “Integrated Impact Assessment”, and a schedule of policy map changes. Mayor and Cabinet - Wednesday, 29th January, 2025 6.00 pm
The meeting made a number of decisions, including approving the School Minor Works Programme 2025, the procurement strategy for enforcement agents for unpaid council tax and business rates, a proposal to dispose of a number of council-owned garage sites, and the adoption of a non-immediate Article 4 Direction to remove certain permitted development rights. The committee also agreed to extend the current contracts for both the Adult Substance Misuse Service and the Young People's Substance Misuse and Sexual Health Service, and to award the contract for Extra Care Services at Conrad Court.
Council - Wednesday, 22nd January, 2025 7.30 pm
The Council approved the Statement of Accounts 2023/24 and Annual Report 2023/24. The Council also approved a number of amendments to the Council’s Constitution and, as part of its statutory duty, approved changes to the polling scheme for elections and referendums. Finally, the Council adopted a motion declaring Lewisham a “Right to Food Borough”.
Mayor and Cabinet - Wednesday, 4th December, 2024 6.00 pm
The meeting included discussion of a variety of topics, including the adoption of a new Economic Development Strategy for Lewisham, procurement of a new framework for the provision of supported living services, a review of the Sustainable Streets schemes that have been implemented in Catford and Crofton Park and how to reduce the budget gap for 2025/26.
