Licensing Sub-Committee - Monday, 8th September, 2025 10.00 am
The Licensing Sub-Committee of Doncaster Council met on 8 September 2025, to consider several reviews of existing private hire and Hackney carriage licenses. The meeting was scheduled to take place at the Council Chamber, Civic Office, Waterdale, Doncaster and the report pack indicates that members of the public and press may have been excluded for some of the meeting. The councillors scheduled to be in attendance were Councillor Karl Hughes, Councillor Nick Allen, Councillor Steven Plater and Councillor Howard Rimmer.
Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) - Thursday, 31st July, 2025 4.30 pm
The Doncaster Council Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) met on Thursday, 31st July 2025, to discuss several key issues, including the constitution and terms of reference, updates to the SACRE webpage and REsource directory, Key Stage 4 grade summaries, and the Agreed RE Syllabus launch event. The council also reviewed national updates for SACRE from RE Today Summer 2025. During the meeting, a new chair and vice-chair were appointed.
