The Licensing Sub-Committee of Doncaster Council scheduled a meeting for Wednesday 22 October 2025, to discuss several licensing matters. The Licensing Committee of Doncaster Council was scheduled to meet on Friday, 26th September 2025, to discuss a new Statement of Licensing Policy. The main item for discussion was the Statement of Licensing Policy 2026, which the committee was asked to consider and recommend for adoption by the full council. The meeting was also scheduled to confirm the minutes of a prior meeting.

Council - Thursday, 18th September, 2025 6.00 pm

The Doncaster Council meeting on 18 September 2025 included discussion of a motion of no confidence in Mayor Ros Jones, which was not passed, as well as the approval of the Youth Justice Plan 2025/26 and noting the Health and Wellbeing Board's Annual Report 2024/25. Councillors also addressed public questions about flags on lampposts, the closure of Warmsworth Library, and IVF treatment availability.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Tuesday, 16th September, 2025 1.00 pm

The Licensing Sub-Committee of Doncaster Council met on Tuesday 16 September 2025 to consider an application for a new premises licence. Councillor Karl Hughes was scheduled to chair the meeting. Councillors Martin Greenhalgh, Howard Rimmer and Gerald Squire were also scheduled to be in attendance.

The meeting was scheduled to take place at the Council Chamber, Civic Office, Waterdale, Doncaster and the report pack indicates that members of the public and press may have been excluded for some of the meeting. The councillors scheduled to be in attendance were Councillor Karl Hughes, Councillor Nick Allen, Councillor Steven Plater and Councillor Howard Rimmer.
