The licensing sub-committee of Richmond upon Thames Council met to discuss an application for a new premises licence for the Allianz Stadium on Whitton Road, Twickenham. The sub-committee decided to grant the application in part, limiting the number of major non-sporting events (Category B) to three per year, with only one allowed on a day other than a Saturday. They also set conditions for Category C events, including limiting outdoor events to the north or west concourse and car park, and limiting the number of outdoor Category C events to 28 days per year, with a maximum capacity of 2,500 people.
