Cabinet - Tuesday, 17 December 2024 7:00 pm
The Cabinet approved a revised budget for the purchase of 164 homes at Syon Lane in Brentford, and the recommendations made in an update of the One Hounslow Financial Strategy (OHFS). It also noted progress being made on the council's Delivery Plan and the performance of council services in Quarter 2 of 2024-25.
Bedfont and Feltham Area Forum - Thursday, 28 November 2024 7:30 pm
The Bedfont and Feltham Area Forum meeting on 28 November 2024 was scheduled to include an informal market place
from 6:30pm to 7:30pm for residents to find out about local Council services and community groups. The formal part of the meeting was scheduled to start at 7:30pm, when the Councillors were scheduled to receive an update on winter fuel support that is available. This was to be followed by an open forum for members of the public to raise issues of local concern, and a Community Spotlight
feature.

The meeting included four petitions on a variety of matters, discussion of the ‘state of the borough’ report, the appointment of a new Monitoring Officer and four proposed motions for debate by members. In addition the council considered reports on treasury management, the adoption of a new gambling policy, and constitutional matters. Lastly, five written questions to cabinet members were answered.

The meeting agreed to adopt a new policy to restrict adverts for food and drink that are high in fat, salt and sugar (HFSS), extended the contract to provide community police officers, decided to move the library at Cranford to the Meadowbank Adult Education Centre, and noted the Council’s financial position at the end of Quarter 2 2024/25.
Hounslow Health and Wellbeing Board - Wednesday, 23 October 2024 4:00 pm
This meeting was about the approval of the Better Care Fund (BCF) plans for 2024/25 and the consideration of reports from partner organisations on a range of topics relevant to the Hounslow Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2023-26[^2]. The meeting included updates on the transfer of Hounslow Community Services to the West London NHS Trust (WLT), the Better Care Fund, and mental health services.
