This meeting was the first of 2025 for the full Council of Camden Council. The report pack for this meeting included updates on external and internal audit work, a review of principal risks, an update on politically restricted positions within the Council, proposed amendments to standing orders for procurement, and a report on recent changes to polling districts and places.
Housing and Fire Safety Advisory Panel - Tuesday, 22nd October, 2024 6.30 pm
The Housing and Fire Safety Advisory Panel met to receive a wide-ranging update on fire safety, gas, asbestos, water and electrical safety in the borough's social housing stock. The meeting also considered a report on progress in implementing the Council's Fire and Building Safety Charter.
Standards Committee - Monday, 21st October, 2024 6.30 pm
The meeting on 21 October 2024 was of the Standards Committee. The agenda included a range of topics relating to standards and conduct of councillors at Camden Council. The committee were scheduled to receive a report on complaints about councillors in 2023-24, agree the categories of Statutory Disclosable Pecuniary Interests for which a dispensation could be granted and review proposed changes to the Register of Interests form.
