Appointments Committee - Thursday, 18th September, 2025 4.30 pm
The Appointments Committee of Lincolnshire County Council met on 18 September 2025 to discuss the recruitment and selection of a new Chief Executive. The meeting was scheduled to be held in Committee Room One, County Offices, Newland, Lincoln Lincs LN1 1YL. The committee was also scheduled to review the minutes of their previous meeting.
Council - Friday, 12th September, 2025 10.30 am
Councillor Stephen Bunney, Chairman of the Council, opened the meeting with tributes to former councillors and staff, before councillors moved to discuss the financial performance review, the youth justice plan, and a motion regarding asylum seekers. Councillors approved the Lincolnshire Youth Justice Plan 2025-28, and voted to approve an amended motion regarding the location of asylum seekers in the county. They also approved the calendar of meetings for 2026/27, and made appointments to committees and outside bodies.
Executive - Tuesday, 2nd September, 2025 10.30 am
The Executive of Lincolnshire County Council met to discuss a range of issues, including approving the Lincolnshire Youth Justice Plan 2025-28, and the North Highcombe Relief Road scheme. They also agreed to launch a public consultation on the Integrated Lifestyle Service.
Executive - Tuesday, 8th July, 2025 10.30 am
At a meeting of the Lincolnshire County Council Executive, councillors reviewed the council's financial performance in 2024-25, approved the re-procurement of the occupational health contract, and agreed to move forward with one of two options for local government reorganisation. The executive voted to recommend option one, the continuity option, to the council.
Executive - Tuesday, 3rd June, 2025 10.30 am
The Lincolnshire Council Executive met to discuss a new IT contract, appointments to outside bodies and the proposed geological disposal facility (GDF) for nuclear waste at Theddlethorpe. The council voted to withdraw from the Theddlethorpe GDF Community Partnership, and approved recommendations to progress to contractual approval with a new Strategic Technology Partner (STP) to manage the council's IT services. The Executive also approved appointments to outside bodies.
