The Executive, Resources and Contracts Policy Development and Scrutiny Committee met to discuss the council's business management, scrutinise the Chief Executive and Leader, and review the award of a contract for facilities management at the Bromley Civic Centre. The committee agreed to support the recommendations for the award of the facilities management contract, and noted the matters outstanding, work programme, and forward plan of key decisions.

The committee refused permission for the redevelopment of Conifer House, and noted the planning KPIs.

The Bromley Council Plans Sub-Committee No. 2 met on 18 September 2025 to discuss several planning applications. The committee approved alterations to Crofton Roman Villa, but refused applications for a fuel tank at Crystal Palace Football Club Academy, a two-storey rear extension at 91 Greenview Avenue, and the conversion of a dwelling into a house in multiple occupation (HMO) at 134 Worsley Bridge Road.

Informal briefing, Health Scrutiny Sub-Committee - Tuesday 16 September 2025 5.00 pm

The Bromley Council Health Scrutiny Sub-Committee virtually met on 16 September 2025 to discuss general practice (GP) access, receive an update from King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, and review a patient experience report from Healthwatch Bromley. Councillor Mark Brock, Chairman of the Adult Care & Health PDS Committee and Health Scrutiny Sub-Committee, was scheduled to chair the meeting. The Executive, Resources and Contracts Policy Development and Scrutiny Committee met on 15 September 2025, to discuss a range of issues including budget monitoring, treasury management, and contract performance. The committee supported recommendations for capital programme monitoring and treasury management, and requested further information on financial sustainability of the Our Bromley magazine, property risks, and contracts.
