Licensing Panel B - Thursday, 7th November, 2024 7.00 pm
The Licensing Panel B of Camden Council met to determine an application for a new premises licence for Bidborough Works, Ground; 2nd and 3rd floors of the former Camden Town Hall, Judd Street. It was resolved that the application be granted with amended and additional conditions. In a separate matter, the Panel agreed to suspend the licence for Blue Garden, Basement and Ground Floor, 74 Chancery Lane pending a full review hearing.
Licensing Panel C - Thursday, 10th October, 2024 7.00 pm
This meeting was to discuss applications for new premises licences, an application to vary a premises licence and to agree on the procedures for remote meetings.
Culture and Environment Scrutiny Committee - Monday, 7th October, 2024 6.30 pm
The meeting primarily focused on reviewing reports from the Metropolitan Police Service, including updates on crime trends, initiatives like A New Met for London,
and the use of facial recognition technology. The committee also discussed and noted Councillor Patricia Callaghan's annual report as the Cabinet Member for Safer Communities, covering a wide array of issues within her portfolio.
Pension Committee - Thursday, 19th September, 2024 6.30 pm
The committee noted the performance of the investments made by the Camden Local Government Pension Scheme. They also noted the activities undertaken by the Local Authority Pension Fund Forum (LAPFF)[^2] to engage with companies in which the fund has invested, and they discussed the progress made by the London Collective Investment Vehicle (London CIV)[^3] towards procuring new funds, onboarding assets, and achieving the government's aims for pooling within the LGPS.
