Councillors will also discuss motions related to pavement parking, secondary school provision at Hanwood Park, and the role of Sport England in planning applications.

The North Northamptonshire Council Planning Committee is scheduled to meet to discuss planning applications for a modification to a Section 106 agreement, a house extension, and the replacement of a classroom building.

Audit and Governance Committee - Monday 1st December, 2025 2.00 pm

The Audit and Governance Committee convened to discuss internal audit plans, risk management, and policies for fraud prevention and whistleblowing, and approved the recommendations that were put forward.

Children's, Young Persons & Education Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday 25th November, 2025 7.00 pm

The Children's, Young Persons & Education Scrutiny Committee met to discuss educational outcomes, inclusion and partnerships, and the Virtual School Head Annual Report. The committee approved recommendations related to each of these topics, including a request for regular updates on the progress of the Family Hubs programme and on inclusion outcomes. The committee also noted the work programme for the coming year.
