The Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority - Employment and Skills Board decided on 05/08/2026 to approve recommendations subject to call-in. The Board noted the direction to adopt national rules for adult education eligibility and that the Greater Lincolnshire Funding Rules have been revised to reflect these national residency eligibility rules from 01 August 2026. The revised rules align with national DfE policy, and include specific provisions for learners with limited length visas and asylum seekers.

The Executive Director - Resources of Lincolnshire Council approved recommendations regarding Adult Skills Funding on 05/08/2026. The decision noted progress on Year 1 Adult Skills Fund, Free Course for Jobs, and Skills Bootcamps, and approved the award of new engineering funding to be included in the Skills Bootcamp budget. Authority was delegated for the management of these budgets and for contract termination decisions.

The Executive Councillor for Highways and Transport approved the proposed revocation of waiting restrictions on Cherry Walk in Boston. This decision was made between 26-30 June 2026.

The Environment Scrutiny Committee noted amendments to the Lincolnshire Minerals and Waste Local Plan Proposed Submission Version and the Site Assessment Report. These amendments were made to reflect new appendices, tables, updated population figures, and correct drafting and formatting errors.
