Wandsworth Council

The Wandsworth Borough Council Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) met on Monday 3 November 2025. The agenda included a presentation on interfaith relations, an introduction to the Multi-Faith Forum, and updates on faith trails and Faith Direct sessions. Councillors and religious representatives were also scheduled to discuss Ofsted[^2], SIAMS[^3] and CSI[^4] reports for the borough's schools.

Wandsworth Council

Councillors approved the extension of the borough's Public Space Protection Order[^2] (PSPO) and debated motions on community tensions and housing. A vote was held to dispose of the remaining agenda items, effectively ending debate on several motions.

The committee granted the licence for Wimbledon Park with some modifications, and granted the licence for Rhynd with conditions.

The Licensing Sub-Committee met to discuss a new premises licence for 142 St John's Hill and a review of the premises licence for Costcutter, 66 Tooting High Street. The sub-committee agreed to grant the premises licence for 142 St John's Hill, with a condition to restrict alcohol sales to 10pm. The review of the premises licence for Costcutter, 66 Tooting High Street, was held in a closed session due to an ongoing investigation.

Wandsworth Council

The Wandsworth Council Licensing Sub-Committee met to consider an application from the Home Office Immigration Enforcement to review the premises licence of Londis, 1-4 Aubyn Square, London, SW15 5NT, following the discovery of an illegal worker at the premises. After hearing from all parties, the sub-committee decided to suspend the licence for one month and add new conditions to the licence. These conditions include maintaining a comprehensive staff register, ensuring staff complete right-to-work compliance training, and regular reviews of compliance files by the designated premises supervisor (DPS).
