Licensing Sub-Committee - Tuesday, 16th September, 2025 1.00 pm

The Licensing Sub-Committee of Doncaster Council met on Tuesday 16 September 2025 to consider an application for a new premises licence. Councillor Karl Hughes was scheduled to chair the meeting. Councillors Martin Greenhalgh, Howard Rimmer and Gerald Squire were also scheduled to be in attendance.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Monday, 8th September, 2025 10.00 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee of Doncaster Council met on 8 September 2025, to consider several reviews of existing private hire and Hackney carriage licenses. The meeting was scheduled to take place at the Council Chamber, Civic Office, Waterdale, Doncaster and the report pack indicates that members of the public and press may have been excluded for some of the meeting. The councillors scheduled to be in attendance were Councillor Karl Hughes, Councillor Nick Allen, Councillor Steven Plater and Councillor Howard Rimmer.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Friday, 5th September, 2025 10.00 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee convened to review an application for a variation of a premises licence, specifically to appoint a new Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) for Danum News. The Sub-Committee was asked to determine the application, taking into account the representations made and the evidence presented.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Tuesday, 2nd September, 2025 10.00 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee of Doncaster Council met on 2 September 2025 to review several Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver licences. The sub-committee reviewed eight applications in total, making decisions on whether each applicant was a 'fit and proper' person to hold a licence, in accordance with the council's Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing Policy. One application was withdrawn prior to the meeting.

Planning Committee - Tuesday, 26th August, 2025 2.00 pm

The Doncaster Council Planning Committee met on 26 August 2025, and approved the acquisition of land for an active travel scheme, a mental health support service contract, and an increase to weekly living allowances for young people in care. The committee also approved a planning application for residential units, deferred a decision on an extension to a bloodstock sales complex, and approved reserved matters for a detached dwelling and garage.
