Members were scheduled to discuss outline planning applications for large residential developments near Doncaster Sheffield Airport, as well as a full planning application for a detached garage with rooms in the roof space.

Regeneration & Housing Overview & Scrutiny Panel - Wednesday, 1st October, 2025 12.30 pm

The Regeneration & Housing Overview & Scrutiny Panel met to discuss the 2025 Secure Tenancy Agreement Review, and to review the Overview and Scrutiny Work Plan and the Council's Forward Plan of Key Decisions. The panel supported the report on the tenancy agreement review, and requested that the Executive consider removing the 'express clause' regarding automatic succession rights, so that other family members beyond a spouse or partner could be granted a new tenancy if they qualify, to make the best use of council housing stock. The panel also agreed to add consideration of how supporting infrastructure information is taken into account during planning application reviews to the work plan for future consideration.
