Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Panel - Thursday, 20th March, 2025 6.30 pm
This meeting of the Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Panel was scheduled to include presentations on maternal mortality and the prevention of avoidable ill health in Greenwich. It was also scheduled to include a discussion of the Panel’s work programme for the following year.
Audit and Risk Management Panel - Wednesday, 19th March, 2025 6.30 pm
The meeting noted Forvis Mazar’s 2023/24 Annual Audit Report, which proposed an unqualified audit opinion for the Council. The Panel accepted two recommendations from Forvis Mazars about the Council’s financial sustainability, and the failure to clear the backlog of fire safety actions. The meeting also accepted the draft report on the work of the Audit and Risk Management Panel 2024/25.
Pension Board - Monday, 17th March, 2025 11.30 am
This meeting was scheduled to discuss the Pension Fund's Draft Business Plan, review the process for publishing various Fund documents, and note a number of reports including the Fund Manager Performance Report, minutes of the previous Pension Panel meeting and the Pension Fund Risk Register. The meeting was also scheduled to receive a presentation from Legal and General Investment Management (LGIM) on the Funds Global Low Carbon Equities.
Council Special Meeting - Wednesday, 26th February, 2025 7.00 pm
The meeting approved the Council's Statement of Accounts for 2023-24, its Treasury Management and Capital Strategy for 2025-26, the Housing Revenue Account medium-term financial strategy, budget and rent setting, and its Medium Term Financial Strategy and budget and council tax setting for 2025-26.
Audit and Risk Management Panel - Tuesday, 25th February, 2025 6.30 pm
The Royal Borough of Greenwich’s Audit and Risk Management Panel met to note the Statement of Accounts 2023/24, the Treasury Management and Capital Strategy 2025/26 and the Strategic Risk Register on Tuesday 25 February 2025. The Panel noted the Statement of Accounts and requested a written update to Full Council on the value for money arrangements, as set out in the draft External Auditor's Management Report. They also noted both the Treasury Management and Capital Strategy 2025/26 and the Strategic Risk Register, asking for an update on the Workforce Strategy.
