Local Planning Committee - Tuesday, 24th September, 2024 6.30 pm
The meeting saw the approval of a retrospective planning application for a single storey rear infill extension at 34 Fairthorn Road, as well as the approval of an application for the construction of a nine-storey extension to the Vista Building on Calderwood Street. The committee also approved a contentious application for the conversion and extension of an existing outbuilding at 118 Woodhill Road, and the change of use from a residential dwelling to a six-person HMO at 64 Holburne Road.
Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Panel - Thursday, 19th September, 2024 6.30 pm
This meeting of the Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Panel was scheduled to include a presentation about the Council's preparedness for the Care Quality Commission's (CQC) new inspection regime for adult social care and a report on local vaccination rates.

Council - Wednesday, 24th July, 2024 7.00 pm
This meeting of the full council saw the appointment of Councillor Majid Rahman as the new Cabinet Member for Planning, Estate Renewal and Development, replacing Councillor Aidan Smith who has left the council to take up a new role elsewhere. The council also voted to approve the adoption of a new Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) charging schedule and to allow for the appointment of political assistants for both the Labour and Conservative groups.
