The first two applications concerned requests to vary existing licenses, and the third was for a new premises licence. The sub-committee was scheduled to consider the City of Westminster statement of Licensing Policy, effective from October 2021, and guidance issued by the Secretary of State under Section 182 of the Licensing Act 2003.

The committee agreed to grant the licence with conditions, permitting the sale of alcohol and defining opening times for the premises. The applicant, Calaviation Limited, intends to operate the premises as a family-friendly neighbourhood pub.

The committee approved a new public realm guidance document, allocated funding for improvements to Maida Hill Market, and made decisions on planning applications for Charles Lane, Gloucester Terrace and Caroline Terrace. Additionally, they considered a Tree Preservation Order for a London plane tree on Hamilton Terrace.
