Eastern Area Planning Committee - Thursday 2 October 2025 3.00 pm

The Eastern Area Planning Committee of Wiltshire Council met on 2 October 2025, and approved a dormer extension and retrospective change of use at The Barn, Spin Hill, and a two-storey side and rear extension at 8 Duck Street, Potterne, both subject to conditions. The committee also noted several planning appeals and updates.

Pewsey Area Board - Monday 22 September 2025 7.00 pm

The Pewsey Area Board met to discuss community priorities, funding, and local highway improvements. Councillors agreed to support the creation of a Pewsey Shed, a community project aimed at improving men's mental health, and approved funding for Age UK Wiltshire and Pewsey Vale Football Club, among other items. Eastern Area Planning Committee - Thursday 4 September 2025 3.00 pm

The Eastern Area Planning Committee met to discuss objections to the proposed modification of definitive maps and statements for Collingbourne Kingston. The committee voted to forward The Wiltshire Council Parish of Collingbourne Kingston Path Nos. 1B,8 and 9 Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2025 to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (SoSEFRA) with a recommendation for confirmation without modification.

Wiltshire Council met on 22 July 2025, and among the topics discussed were youth services, treasury management, a bat mitigation strategy, and a motion to repudiate the council's climate emergency declaration. Councillors also debated and voted on motions regarding weight limits on roads and the Ask Angela scheme.
