The West Glamorgan Archives Committee decided to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. They also elected Councillor R V Smith as Vice Chair for the municipal year 2026-2027. The committee approved updated Archive Service policies and the fees and charges for 2026/2027.

The West Glamorgan Archives Committee approved recommendations on 11 September 2026. The committee noted the work of the Archive Service during June to August 2026, including user statistics, steps towards accreditation, engagement activities, improvements to the Neath Antiquarian Society searchroom, and staffing matters. The committee also noted the accessions of archive collections received during the period.

The Planning Committee decided to approve recommendations on 08/09/2026.

The Planning Committee of Swansea Council approved planning application 2025/0189/FUL on 08/09/2026. The decision was to approve the demolition of the existing vacant building and the erection of 9 dwellings, comprising 5 open market houses and 4 affordable houses, including new accesses, parking, and landscaping.
