Full Council - Wednesday, 22nd October, 2025 6.30 pm

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea's Full Council met on 22 October 2025, and addressed the borough's medium-term financial strategy, adopted an updated local code of corporate governance, and approved changes to standing orders and the municipal timetable. Councillors also debated motions on pension fund investments in temporary accommodation, becoming a Borough of Sanctuary, street scene enhancements, changes to the Integrated Care Board[^2], and council tax waivers for terminally ill residents.

Family Services Select Committee - Monday, 20th October, 2025 6.30 pm

The Family Services Select Committee were scheduled to discuss the Local Safeguarding Children Partnership Annual Report, the Children's Social Care Reforms, and the Committee's work programme for the coming year. The meeting was scheduled to begin with 72 seconds of silence to remember those who lost their lives in the Grenfell tragedy[^2].

Licensing Committee - Thursday, 16th October, 2025 10.00 am

The Kensington and Chelsea Licensing Committee met to discuss and note the proposed revisions to the council's statement of licensing policy 2026-2031, which is required under the Licensing Act 2003. The committee reviewed feedback from a public consultation and considered amendments to the policy. The updated policy will be presented to the Leadership Team and then to the Full Council for adoption.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Thursday, 9th October, 2025 10.00 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee of Kensington and Chelsea Council were scheduled to convene to consider an application by Grandio Group UK and Europe Limited for a new premises licence for 201-207 Kensington High Street to operate as a brasserie sportive . The committee was to consider representations for and against the application, and determine whether to grant the licence, modify the proposed conditions, or reject the application.

Overview & Scrutiny Committee - Wednesday, 8th October, 2025 6.30 pm

The Overview and Scrutiny Committee (OSC) met to discuss the Grenfell Recovery Programme, social investment, and the council's financial performance. The committee reviewed the delivery, reach, and impact of the Grenfell Recovery Programme, examined the Social Investment Impact Report, and discussed the Quarter 1 Revenue and Capital Financial Monitoring Report.
