The annual meeting of the Borough Council of the London Borough of Hounslow was scheduled to include the election of a new Mayor and the appointment of a Deputy Mayor, as well as the establishment of and appointments to various council bodies and outside organisations. Also on the agenda was a request to waive the six-month rule for Councillor Sukhbir Singh Dhaliwal due to ill health.

The Hounslow Council Pension Board met to discuss the pension board forward plan, review the West Yorkshire Pension Fund (WYPF) administration performance, and monitor compliance with the Pensions Regulator’s (TPR) General Code of Practice (GCOP). The agenda included a review of breaches and late payments, and an update on the Employer's Forum. Some items, including the annual report of the board and exempt minutes of the Pension Fund Panel, were scheduled to be discussed with the press and public excluded.

The Hounslow Borough Council meeting included the adoption of a new transport strategy, discussion of member allowances, and a review of the council's constitution. Councillors also approved the appointment of independent members to the Audit and Governance Committee and addressed questions on street lighting and other local issues.

Chiswick Area Forum

Chiswick Area Forum - Wednesday, 12 March 2025 7:30 pm

A meeting of the Chiswick Area Forum was due to be held on Wednesday 12 March 2025 at Chiswick Town Hall, Turnham Green. The meeting was scheduled to begin with an informal networking event where members of the public could meet with Councillors and council officers. The formal meeting was then due to consider a range of matters.

Health and Adults Care Scrutiny Panel - Tuesday, 11 March 2025 7:30 pm

The Health and Adults Care Scrutiny Panel meeting on 11 March 2025 was scheduled to receive feedback from a site visit to Bristol Court, a presentation on developing effective recommendations, and take part in a workshop to develop findings and recommendations. The panel was also scheduled to consider its work programme for 2024/25.
